Why Lošinj and the diving center Benthos?
The diversity of the island of Lošinj, the neighboring islets, the coast and the sea provides our guests divers and non-divers with numerous opportunities.
Whether you want to join us on a diving trip, a private half-day or full-day tour with several dives, sightseeing, water sports, a break for swimming in some of the most beautiful bays of our archipelago, we will offer you the best option for a complete experience of the island of Lošinj, on the water or underwater.
How are we different?
First, we are not a classic diving center that only offers diving trips, but we strive to create an offer together with you, that is, to offer the best solution so that the diving experience is of maximum quality, with good times and primarily a relaxed atmosphere. With this guiding idea, we try to adapt our services to you, whether you are a group or an individual, whether you just want a quick dive from the shore, a private diving course or as part of a family or friendly half-day or full-day get-together to discover the Lošinj undersea.
The main features of our work are working in small groups or privately, individual approach and flexibility, and we strive to maintain high standards of service and expertise of our staff.
In our diving center, you are primarily a guest, not just a client!
Equipment & services
We have an equipped office / classroom, a room with equipment and a compressor, an indoor bathroom, an outdoor shower, a pool for washing equipment and a terrace overlooking the Rovenska harbor where you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere while preparing for diving and also after diving, while drying the equipment.
We go on excursions in a 7.5 m speedboat adapted for divers, with a capacity of 8 people. We also provide equipment transfer from your vehicle in the public parking lot to the speedboat and back.
Accommodation facilities
are directly above the diving center. We currently have two large rooms for max. 3 persons with shared kitchen on first floor and apartment for two in ground floor. Free reserved parking places are in main public parking, 200 m from residence.
We also provide transport of equipment from the parking lot to the diving center or the boat in Rovenska bay. For more accommodation info, please visit www.amaryillis.hr.

Meet your dive leader and instructor
My name is Mario Bonić and I am the owner of a company providing services in diving tourism, Benthos diving center. I work as a professional firefighter, and diving is my second calling, but my first love! I have been connected to the sea and the Lošinj underwater since I was a child, first with snorkling, underwater fishing, then freediving and for the last 25 years scuba diving. I gained experience in recreational, technical diving, and in underwater works.
Along with the effort to provide you with the highest quality service, I wish to pass to you a part of my passion for diving and the underwater world, especially if you are experiencing diving for the first time.
