Open water diver
The purpouse is to train students for diving with a certified partner up to a recommended depth of 18 m. Thru online EVO system and at least 6 dives in open water you will learn about snorkling, scuba diving skills, how to choose and use diving equipment, communicate under water, how the underwater enviroment affects our bodies and how we adapt to it …
While part of the theory is taught independently at home thru EVO system, part of discussion is conducted in the clasroom. The practical part consists of exercises in protected water, and their practical applications in open waters.

Which option to choose?
Here are few options that our guests choose most often
… depending on whether you want to join a group, sign up as a group (max. 6), individual, private or couples dive trip. Families or smaller groups mostly decide on a half-day tour by speedboat, where you can enjoy other water activities, snorkeling, swimming in beautiful turquoise bays… and we can also visit the nearby island of flowers Ilovik, where you can take a walk, take a break for lunch …
Of course, other combinations are also possible in order to adapt the activity to your wishes and vacation plans.
If you plan to combine the course with a vacation, we will offer you a favorable package with a discount that includes accommodation in the Amaryllis residence, in highly comfortable rooms with use of the kitchen or in a separate apartment.

What next?
After the course you will be issued a digital certificate and diploma. The international Open Diver Diver certification permits you to dive all over the world, to a depth of 18 meters (40 feet), accompanied by your diving partner.
If you want to continue your diving education, you can join the Advanced Open Water Diver course and raise your diving skills to a new level.
