Scuba diver

is entry level diving course is for all those who, because of the limited time are not able to go trough a complete and demanding course for skilled Open water diver. The content of the course is considerably shortened compared to the OWD and provides certified divers dive under the direct supervision of dive leader or instructor to 12 m depth.
You will learn about diving equipment, a little about physics and the most basic diving skills.

Requirements

no previous diving qualifications are necessary
for Scuba Diver the minimum age is 12 years
10 years for the Junior Scuba Diver certification (specific procedures apply)
for under age students the written consent of parents or legal guardians
signed liability release and assumption of risk agreement
filling out the medical statement

Which option to choose?

Here are few options that our guests choose most often

… depending on whether you want to join a group, sign up as a group, individual, private or couple diving trip. Families or smaller groups mostly decide for a half-day excursion by speedboat, where you can enjoy other water activities, diving, swimming in beautiful turquoise bays… and we can also visit the nearby flower island of Ilovik, where you can take a walk, take a break for lunch…

Of course, other combinations & prices are possible to adapt the course to your wishes and vacation plans.

SCD course & half day boat tour

Our most popular service for couples, small groups and families, with much more flexibility!

If you are vacationing with family or friends, you may be interested in having part or the entire course as part of a private half-day trip by speedboat. While you and the instructor are under the sea, the rest of the group can enjoy other water activities.

In this case, the final price depends on the number of people on the speedboat (max. 8), i.e. how many of them attend the course (max 4).

After the course …

After the course you will be issued a digital certificate and diploma. The international Scuba Diver certification permits you to dive all over the world, to a depth of 12 meters (40 feet), on the condition that you are accompanied by a diving professional.
If you want to continue your diving education, you can join the Open Water Diver course for independent diver.
